The cooperation with the Faculty of Natural Sciences (NAWI) of the University of Salzburg, which is sealed by contract, has thrived since 2003. The professors of the NAWI run a "Basic Medical Sciences" course, among others, whose purpose is to impart essential scientific knowledge and methods necessary for the study of Human Medicine. Subjects taught include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Histology and Computer Science. Paracelsus University students are entitled to use the laboratories and have access to all research facilities.
