Preparatory course
The preparatory Medical Basics course counts towards 6 ECTS points. In keeping with admission requirements, this course is aimed at those candidates who did not complete their first degrees at a faculty of natural sciences.

Graduation
For graduates receiving a Diploma in Human Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine the academic title of Doctor of Medical Science is conferred. The following titles are conferred in place of the already awarded academic title:
(Dr. med. univ. et scient. med.) for Doctor of General Medicine and Medical Science and Dentistry
(Dr. med. et scient. med.) for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Medical Science
(Dr. med. dent. et scient. med.) for Dentistry
For graduates who have completed their diplomas in other subject areas, the academic title of Doctor of Medical Science (Dr. scient. med.) will be conferred.
