Through your donation, whether through the provision of financial resources, the supply of goods or services, you are making an important contribution to the future of health care and medicine.

There are numerous possibilities available to those who wish to support the Paracelsus Medical University. In addition to donations made towards the foundation, professorships and the individual institutes there is also the possibility to fund a place of study, to promote research or to provide financial support for financially-disadvantaged students.

Numerous persons and enterprises have also given their support to the Paracelsus Medical University in sponsoring building projects, providing furniture and technical as well as medical equipment.

A donation can also be made without a specific intended purpose. As a charitable donation it can be broadly allocated to support a field such as research or financial support of disadvantaged students.

University endowments

It is possible to make a donation towards financing a place of study that produces highly qualified doctors practically-oriented approach at the Paracelsus University. Tuition fees alone cannot cover the costs of the education given, which results in a budgetary deficit. The Paracelsus University believes in offering all academically eligible students, regardless of their financial status, access to study and is therefore dependent on external financial support.

The financing of the Paracelsus University

As the only private medical university in Austria, the Paracelsus University is not entitled to state funding. Nearly 80 percent of the budget is provided by private sources. The University’s patrons and sponsors include numerous companies, individuals and organizations.
