Teaching quality

The company strategy and the corresponding implementation plans are developed on the basis of guiding principles (vision/mission/values/goals). Within this framework, the quality management has the goal to ensure high standards in the task field of the university in accordance with the international criteria.

Quality management system

The quality management system of Paracelsus University is to be understood as a self-learning system which has the goal of constantly improving, by quality assurance measures, the quality of the teaching, research, management/services and networking/partnerships. The achievement of the desired quality is understood as an ongoing process in which all employees are actively taking part. We understand "university" as an expert organisation: It is typical for this approach that the changes and developments depend above all on the intrinsic motivation of the persons participating in the core and management processes. We want to create framework conditions, in which this further development can take place, and make available adequate tools to this purpose such as various measured values, descriptions or rankings.

The corresponding organisational unit with its management is responsible for the quality and its further development. Regulations/guidelines (e.g. reporting system, research documentation) are defined centrally and made available, and the quality management field office is available to all organisational units within the PMU for counselling and provides support in the development of quality management tools and their integration in the corresponding steps of the PDCA cycle.
