Project content

Green & Digital Prevention and Rehabilitation: This project positions the SalzburgerLand region as a pioneer in nature-based, digitally enhanced health solutions. It comprises two studies: one aims to evaluate the effects of natural rehabilitation (Green Exercise and Aerosol Inhalation) on COPD patients by combining clinical research with natural assets like the Krimml Waterfalls. The other study aims to provide a sustainable, preventive model to strengthen the immune system of the Youngest Old, based on exercise, balneotherapy/speleotherapy applications in Gastein, and support from digital health applications. The overall goal is to establish Salzburg as a scientific and health tourism leader in the Alpine Space and beyond.
