Information on the course

In the basic course, participants learn the fundamentals of clinical assessment, enabling them to recognize, describe, interpret, and systematically document deviations from the norm. Changes in health status can be detected early, assessed, and appropriate actions can be taken, such as adjusting interventions or informing the physician, if necessary (Steudter et al. 2013).

Conducting a systematic medical history as part of the nursing process, along with a physical examination, are the central components of clinical assessment. By deepening their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the pathology of common diseases affecting selected organ systems, healthcare and nursing professionals are prepared for future challenges in clinical patient care, as well as in multiprofessional and integrated primary care. Acquiring these additional competencies reinforces nursing autonomy and empowers participants to take on expanded roles in primary care.

Fees

The cost for participants is €1,500, which includes materials, performance records, and a certificate of completion.

PMU graduates receive a 10% discount.
