The Electron Microscopy Core Facility is equipped with a Carl Zeiss TEM 912 OMEGA, featuring an Omega energy filter, 2K digital camera, tungsten cathode, 90-120KV acceleration voltage, 5-axis stage, Köhler illumination, and magnification ranging from 80x to 500,000x in continuous increments.

The facility also includes two ultramicrotomes (Reichert E, Reichert OmU3) for preparing semi-thin and ultra-thin sections.
