The Ph.D. program in Nursing Practice & Leadership is built upon a focused research agenda and a structured qualification framework within a graduate school, much like the Ph.D. in Nursing & Allied Health Sciences.The graduate program is designed to train outstanding early-career researchers, offering specialized courses, research colloquia, and targeted methodology workshops to develop both discipline-specific and interdisciplinary skills.
At the core of the program is the development of independent scientific research skills, with a focus on addressing selected research questions. In addition, graduates of the Ph.D. program in Nursing Practice & Leadership will gain advanced scientific qualifications through a thematic research agenda and a structured qualification plan, enabling them to lead in their field and effectively transfer theory to practice. This includes intensive supervision, intellectual support, and collaboration with other doctoral students.
The Ph.D. program in Nursing Practice & Leadership is offered as a hybrid of online and in-person formats, which can be completed in three years full-time or six years part-time, depending on individual research questions in the context of the Ph.D. thesis.
