Method development and methodological support
Are you working in a research field where you frequently encounter specific methodological challenges and want to develop expertise in specific statistical methods? While it's not always necessary to reinvent the wheel, there are times when seemingly simple questions require new (statistical) methods to be developed after closer methodological examination to solve the issue satisfactorily.
Are you unsure whether the specific question in your medical research field is “interesting enough” for such a methodological investigation? If so, feel free to reach out to us!
We have successfully completed several problem-oriented projects in the past (e.g., on life expectancy comparisons or methods for small sample sizes) and are always open to new and exciting challenges from your area of expertise.
We’re also happy to support projects that require extensive, long-term, methodologically sound guidance. This is especially relevant for systematic reviews and/or meta-analyses, where we can offer valuable methodological support based on our experience, such as participation in the Core Group Guideline Development of the European Reference Network EpiCare.
