We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our first International Workshop. This five-day event brought together participants from around the world, all eager to explore and share best practices in community engagement within the higher education sector.

The ENGAGE workshop focused on equipping university staff with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to plan, implement, and evaluate community engagement initiatives. Discussions were framed using the DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility) approach, emphasizing the importance of accountability and collaboration between academic institutions and local communities.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions, practical exercises, and a community outreach activity organized by PMU. In addition to these hands-on experiences, they had the option to participate in discussions on publishing workshop themes or join networking events during PMU’s Erasmus Day.

We look forward to continuing this initiative in the future and building on the valuable insights gained.

Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events and opportunities for further collaboration!
