Science Get Together 2026 (SGT26)

The 17th Science Get Together (SGT26), Paracelsus Medical University's flagship event for scientific exchange and networking, took place this year at the PMU Campus in Nuremberg.

The event focused on presentations by the University's medical and life sciences research groups. During the poster exhibition, more than 140 participants showcased their research projects, established new professional connections, and engaged in interdisciplinary discussions.

A special highlight of the program was the inspiring keynote lecture by Prof.in Dr.in med. Yurdagül Zopf, Professor of Integrative Medicine with a focus on Nutritional Medicine. Her presentation, entitled "The Obesity Pandemic: Why Our Environment Makes Us Gain Weight More Than Our Willpower," provided valuable insights into one of today's most pressing public health challenges.

The event concluded with the presentation of the Research & Innovation Awards, recognizing outstanding research achievements by PMU and its university hospitals.

Scientific Report

The Scientific Report provides an overview of the scientific output of the PMU campuses over the past year through statistics, graphs, and key performance indicators. It also includes comprehensive information on various research funding initiatives.

In addition, the report features interviews with the recipients of the Research & Innovation Awards (RIA).
