Developing professional nursing, implementing and evaluating advanced nursing practice, and supporting the next generation of nurses.
Research in this field takes into account and expands the current evidence-based knowledge in nursing education and advanced nursing practice within healthcare systems. By integrating the natural, human, and social sciences, this research acknowledges the interplay between patient factors and nursing practice. At the same time, the advancement and further development of the nursing profession influence this very dynamic and therefore constitute a central focus of our research. These research activities consider health outcomes, the quality of care, patient safety, and the impact of the various roles and qualification levels within the nursing profession.
