Specialized training in Intensive Care Nursing
Profile
The university specialized training program is designed to equip participants with the skills needed to meet the current demands of specialized tasks in intensive care. It is conducted in accordance with the Regulation on Specialized Tasks in Health and Nursing Care (BGBl. II No. 452/2005).
Graduates will be qualified to competently perform the tasks outlined in § 20 of the Health and Nursing Care Act (GuKG, as amended).
Participants in the Intensive Care Nursing program will develop the expertise necessary to professionally carry out their duties in intensive care settings. They will also learn how to integrate scientific research findings into daily practice, enabling them to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This approach ensures the long-term quality of care in intensive care units.
