Master's program Applied AI in Healthcare
Profile
Where AI Innovation Meets Medical Practice
Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the future of healthcare — from diagnostics and treatment planning to clinical workflows, research, and patient-centred services. The joint Master’s programme Applied AI in Healthcare(MSc (CE)) at PMU and FH Salzburg prepares you to contribute to this transformation with both technical expertise and a deep understanding of medical and healthcare contexts.
You will develop advanced knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Machine Learning and learn how to translate these methods into responsible, effective, and clinically relevant applications. A strong emphasis is placed on the practical integration of AI solutions into real healthcare environments: not only designing algorithms, but understanding how they can be validated, implemented, and used safely in complex medical systems.
Combining technological innovation with healthcare practice, the programme equips you to work at the interface of medicine, technology, research, and society. It prepares you to become one of the specialists who can turn AI potential into meaningful impact — improving processes, supporting professionals, and helping shape the digital future of healthcare.
