Palliative Care - Level I

The Palliative Care Basic Course is designed for individuals who support gravely ill and dying people during their final stages of life, as well as their loved ones during this challenging time.
The course focuses on imparting both theoretical and practical knowledge, encouraging participants to reflect on their own attitudes and engage personally with themes of suffering, dying, and death.
The primary goal is to convey and expand the principles and standards of Hospice & Palliative Care as an interprofessional discipline, thereby contributing to its advancement in German-speaking countries.
Qualification upon completion: Specilization in Palliative Nursing in accordance with GuKG (2016).
Level I can also be taken as a stand-alone qualification.
PROVIDERS BASIC PROGRAM LEVEL I
Level I of the university program in Palliative Care is offered in collaboration with various institutions in partnership with Paracelsus University.
