Online Bachelor’s in Nursing Science: The Scholarship Winners Have Been Announced

The spotlight is on those who not only practice nursing but are also committed to actively advancing the profession. Two anniversary scholarships honor this dedication.
The 2025 Scholarship Winners
Anela Ejupi from Linz (Austria) Registered Nurse
Anela works in the operating room—a field she plans to remain loyal to in the future. She sees her studies as an opportunity to rethink nursing and open up new career paths: “There is so much more you can do in nursing—specializing, expanding your role, and taking on more responsibility.” She is particularly eager to understand nursing from a scientific perspective: learning how research works and how theoretical insights can be effectively integrated into everyday nursing practice. “I want to understand how to apply what I’ve learned—and put theory into practice.”
What is Anela most looking forward to? “Growing—both professionally and personally. My goal is also to improve my self-management, gain new perspectives, and build valuable connections.”

Timur represents a new generation of nurses. Through his studies, he aims to take on responsibility and actively shape the future of nursing.
For 15 years, the PMU’s Online Bachelor’s Program in Nursing Science has enabled nursing professionals to combine their studies, careers, and private lives—flexibly, practically, and with intensive exchange.
