Celebratory Mood and Summer Vibes at PMU
The Salzburg and Nuremberg campuses of the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU) have had plenty of reasons to celebrate in recent weeks. Three special highlights were on the agenda: the Defensiones, the Teacher of the Year Awards, and the traditional summer festival.
The celebrations began with the Defensiones—the final academic milestone in medical studies following the successful completion of the OSCE exam. Our future doctors presented their scientific work to an audience and then faced questions and discussions with the examiners. We warmly congratulate all graduates on this significant achievement!
This was followed by the Student Summer Festival in Salzburg and Nuremberg, where outstanding achievements in teaching and studies were celebrated. With the Teacher of the Year Awards, the PMU honored particularly committed lecturers from the Human Medicine and Pharmacy programs who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the education of our students.
Amid summer temperatures, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and DJ music, everyone laughed, danced, and celebrated together.
