November 4, 2026: Research visit: Ghozlane Barboucha
Ghozlane Barboucha is a visiting PhD student from the Higher National School of Biotechnology (ENSB), Constantine, Algeria. Her research focuses on investigating the biological activities of plant extracts, with particular interest in their pharmacological potential and antiproliferative effects.
During her research stay at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology / PMU, she is conducting experimental studies using cell culture techniques to assess the effects of Pinus halepensis needle extracts on different cell lines. This work aims to contribute to a better understanding of the biological properties of plant-derived compounds and their potential applications in biomedical research, particularly in the search for new sources of bioactive molecules.
