November 8, 2019: PhD degree for Alessia Remigante
Alessia Remigante received her PhD degree in Applied Biology and Experimental Medicine from the University of Messina (Italy) on November 8th 2019 with a dissertation entitled: "Pathophysiological role of the membrane ions transport: role of O-GlcNAcylation in the regulation of cellular volume". Alessia spent 18 months of her research activity at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology of Paracelsus Medical University and was supported by the European Union funded Programma Operativo Nazionale (PON) fellowship of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (Italy).
