Grund zum Feiern: PMU verabschiedet Pharmaziestudierende des Abschlussjahrgangs 2025
October 10, 2025 – A very special day for our Pharmacy graduates of the Class of 2025
Thirty graduates of the Pharmacy program at Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU) celebrated their well-deserved academic success in the atmospheric setting of Hangar-7 in Salzburg. Together with the newly minted “Mag.a pharm.” and “Mag. pharm.” graduates, PMU dignitaries led by Rector Univ.-Prof. Wolfgang Sperl, honored guests, and of course family members and friends shared in the celebration.
In total, 33 alumni successfully completed their Master’s degree in Pharmacy. Program Director Sebastian Hofbauer served as master of ceremonies for the event.
PMU Rector Univ.-Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Sperl, Associate Vice-Rector Prof. Mag.a Dr. Barbara Kofler, and Prof. Johanna Pachmayr, Dean of Pharmacy for Research, warmly congratulated the proud graduates. Dr. Andreas Greither, a member of the University’s Board of Trustees, was also present and conveyed his personal greetings and best wishes.
The keynote address was delivered by Mag.pharm. Dr. Ulrike Mursch-Edlmayr, President of the Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists, who extended congratulations on behalf of the Chamber to the PMU alumni on their graduation.
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Daniela Schuster, Dean of Pharmacy for Teaching and Deputy Head of the Institute of Pharmacy, presented the diplomas to the graduates and shared her personal words of encouragement.
In the traditional valedictory address, graduates Mag.a pharm. Daniela Mayerhofer and Mag. pharm. Tobias Hinteregger looked back fondly on memorable moments from their studies.
Following the ceremonial cap toss, the festive day concluded with a champagne reception in the elegant atmosphere of Hangar-7.
