October 2, 2023: Poster award for Florian Huber at the RESOLUTE and REsolution consortium congress

The congress of the RESOLUTE and REsolution consortium took place at the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna from September 27-29, 2023. During a five years project, the consortium created tools for the study of solute carrier (SLC) transporters, thus making an enormous contribution to the scientific community. At the end of the project, scientists from all over the world met to exchange ideas and present their research results. Florian Huber, PhD student at the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology presented a poster entitled "Molecular mechanisms in the degradation of SLC26A4 (pendrin) and the pathogenic variants p.L236P & p.R409H", thus presenting the Institute´s latest research results on pendrin degradation. This poster was awarded the second best prize out of 65 posters presented by international scientists (picture: Florian Huber, B.Ed.Univ., M.Ed. and Prof. Giulio Superti-Furga, PhD, RESOLUTE Academic Project Coordinator, CEO and Scientific Director of the Research Center of Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (CeMM). We are very happy about the great interest in our work and this success for our Institute.
