
Leopoldina Symposium: Skeletal Interfaces in Health & Disease

This symposium, organized on behalf of the German Academy of Science, focuses on all levels of interfaces in the musculoskeletal system, and thereby touches on crucial topics of current research and health care. From molecular mechanisms and innovative imaging technology to translational research, clinical management, and societal aspects of “interfaces” the lectures cover a broad spectrum designed for scientists and medical professionals with a research interest.
- Engaging poster sessions and pitches as a platform for young researchers (BA/MA/PhD)
- 18 top international speakers will present latest views and findings (see program)
- Public evening lecture (in German) on “How bones learn to listen” (R. Müller, ETH Zurich)
- Contributions will be published in a Special Issue of Annals of Anatomy
- Dinner and post conference tour to enjoy beautiful Salzburg and adjacent Bavaria, to digest & discuss the scientific content post hoc amongst speakers and participants with ample time
