At two ceremonial events, a total of 170 degrees were awarded at the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU). 132 degrees were conferred in the nursing sector—including advanced training in nursing management and nursing education, as well as new certified nursing assistants—while 38 graduates of academic degree programs received their diplomas and academic titles. On February 26, the focus was on advanced nursing training. 21 graduates completed Intermediate and Basic Nursing Management at Level 1, and 35 qualified as Academic Experts in Nursing Management. On February 27, the Academic Ceremony was held for the degree programs Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Online), Master of Public Health, and the Doctoral Program in Nursing & Allied Health Sciences. 22 graduates received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 13 completed their Master’s in Public Health, and three earned their doctorates in Nursing & Allied Health Sciences.
These degree programs combine scientific depth with professional practice and, through flexible formats, enable academic advancement alongside work in the healthcare sector. They thus make a significant contribution to the sustainable provision and development of healthcare in Salzburg.
